This is a zen story

Thanks ashlyn,

The intended moral of the story was

1.Harm will befall even great men like saints

2.Good and bad both should be treated equally.

3.Free yourself from attachments like the saint did.If you did you so no one can harm you.

4.Your happiness doesnt depend upon how others behave. It depends upon your mental state. If your mind doesnt get affected by what happens around you, you will always be happy

Thanks ashlyn, nila

Ashlyn,
In geetha karma yoga is mentioned by krishna. If we follow that even a family man can be disattached to the life.Krishna says to do our duty.So even though we remain un attached,we can do our duty and lead a family mans life.King janak is a great example for this.

Thanks for the story nila. Will read it.

thanks

Mr. Treasurer.

Dear nila,

That story was great.I remember reading steve covey's 7 habits for highly effective people. In that the first habit is '[being procative' which is the exact same moral of the story
